Pet Shop Boys 'Battleship Potemkin' concert & Yoko Ono's 'Odyssey of a Cockroach'

On 12 September 2004 the Pet Shop Boys and the Dresden Sinfoniker performed their contemporary score to the 1925 classic film 'Battleship Potemkin' in a concert organised by the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in Trafalgar Square. The event was part of the Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone's summer programme of free events in Trafalgar Square. I was Event Manager of a pre-reception for the Mayor of London and after-party at the ICA, as well as an ICA Project Manager for the concert.

On 4 February 2004 I was the Event Manager of Yoko Ono's private view for her 'Odyssey of a Cockroach' exhibition. This was an off-site ICA exhibition at Wharf Road. The private view was incredibly popular with people climbing over walls to try and get in the back entrance. Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, Sam Taylor Wood, Grayson Perry, Isabella Blow and Lucien Freud were all there to meet the first lady of Conceptual art.
